Parenting Skills Classes
Provider: L A CARE HEALTH PLAN - COMMUNITY RESOURCE CENTER - EAST LOS ANGELES
The health plan provides family life education for people of all ages in Los Angeles county. Services include anger management, court ordered parenting programs and parenting skills classes. Services are available to members and to the general public through the plan's Family Resource Center locations. There are no geographic restrictions.
Parenting classes are based on the Breakthrough Parenting program and are available to court-ordered and self-referred individuals. Participants receive certificates of completion; staff will provide progress reports to the court, if needed per the court order.
