The chamber is a membership organization for Japanese-American-owned businesses which are located in the greater Los Angeles area. It promotes commercial activity, community service, and provides networking opportunities for members.
The agency sponsors community services to the Japanese American (Nikkei) community. Services include the sponsorship of cultural heritage programs; fund raising for Japanese American community based organizations; health screening events in collaboration with community based organizations; public awareness/education; and student exchange programs for eligible Japanese American students.
