Workers Compensation Benefits Assistance
Provider: CALIFORNIA STATE DEPARTMENT OF INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS - LOS ANGELES BRANCH
The services provided for workers include medical care, financial disability benefits, vocational rehabilitation, and benefits for dependents of workers who are killed on the job. Most California workers receive coverage through the State Compensation Insurance Fund. The department issues certificates to employers who wish to provide independent coverage and monitors the quality of these programs through its Self Insurance Plans Program (SIP). Federal employees have coverage monitored by the U.S. Department of Labor.
