Foster Homes for Dependent Children

The agency provides foster care services for children age birth to 17 years old in Los Angeles County. Services include foster parent/family recruitment, foster care for dependent children, and foster home placement. Children must be placed through DCFS. Age restrictions apply; there are no geographic restrictions.

A social worker is assigned to each individual child and provides case management and support services as needed. Children, foster parents, and birth parents receive individual, group, and family counseling. Psychological assessments are provided for children and staff provide referrals for additional specialized services as needed.

The agency recruits, trains, and certifies foster parents of all ages. Individuals must be U.S. citizens or legal residents age 21 and older, demonstrate financial stability, and have a safe home environment.
