Perinatal Drug Use Disorder Treatment

The program provides residential treatment for substance use disorders for women age 18 and older in Los Angeles County. Services include perinatal drug use disorder treatment for pregnant women and women with children age eight and younger, and residential drug use disorder treatment facilities for single women. The agency can refer applicants elsewhere for detoxification before they enter the program. Age restrictions apply for services; there are no geographic restrictions.

The average stay is 9 to 12 months. Residents participate in individual and group counseling; parent education including Mommy and Me interaction classes, domestic violence groups and counseling, 12-step support groups, and are assisted in learning to set realistic goals and plans.
