Conjoint Counseling

The agency provides domestic violence services for adults. Services include anger management, domestic violence support groups for battered women, and parenting skills classes. There are no geographic restrictions.

  Counseling services may focus on numerous problems and concerns including marital problems, premarital issues, family communication, parent-child conflict, child abuse, drug and alcohol abuse, juvenile delinquency, and intrapersonal concerns. The focus of the groups may be on issues like social skill development, improving self-esteem, and communication skills.

   The center accepts clients who are court ordered to participate in counseling because of child abuse, or drug or alcohol abuse, or as part of a diversion program for first offenders. The agency cooperates with the Court by making required reports concerning the client's attendance and general progress.
