Provider: FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH OF LOS ANGELES

The program provides occasional emergency food assistance for people live within the church boundaries, including people who are undocumented or homeless. The service area includes portions of Los Angeles zip codes 90016, 90018 and 90019; it is bounded to the north by Pico Blvd., to the south by Jefferson Blvd., to the east by Fifth Ave., and to the west by La Brea Ave. The church serves people from outside of the service area when resources allow. Groceries include a 4 to 5 day supply of USDA surplus, powdered milk, canned and dried goods. The amount of food varies according to family size. People may apply for assistance monthly.

Application Procedure
Walk in for service. Picture ID for head of household is required; proof of income and proof of residence are requested, but not required. In special circumstances, the church will deliver food to people who lack transportation or who are homebound.
