Disease/Disability Specific Screening/Diagnosis (Speech Impairments)
Provider: UCLA SPEECH PATHOLOGY CLINIC
The clinic provides services for people with disabilities in Los Angeles. Services include screening, diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of language, speech, cognitive and swallowing problems. It also participates as a member of the cranial-facial anomalies team which corrects problems which result from conditions like cleft palate. Laryngectomy services are provided and assessment and treatment for speech and swallowing problems related to head and neck cancer. The clinic does not provide speech pathology services for people who stutter, but can refer them for treatment at other facilities. There are no geographic restrictions.
