Regional Occupational Centers
Provider: LOS ANGELES UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT - ABRAM FRIEDMAN OCCUPATIONAL CENTER
The division provides job training through 10 career and technical education centers that provide programs for youth age 16 to 21 and adults age 18 and older in Los Angeles. Services include regional occupational programs, vocational education and vocational rehabilitation. There are no geographic restrictions.
The center provides short-term training (6 to 40 weeks) in occupational fields including automotive technology, business education, graphic arts and design, information technology, industrial programs, justice and personal aesthetics. Special vocational programs are available for refugees, people who have disabilities and students who need alternative education.

Call or visit the division website http://Achieve.lausd.net/Page/503 for course information and the location of the closest program/school. Registration is taken at each individual school site.
Fees
There are fees for some programs. Concurrently enrolled high school students in LAUSD pay no fees.
