Foreclosed Property Redevelopment Programs

The agency provides services for veterans with families in Los Angeles County. Services include foreclosed property redevelopment programs for veterans. There are no geographic restrictions.

The Homes on the Homefront Program provides veterans and military personnel and families with home ownership opportunities, such as the purchase of bank owned, rehabilitated properties. This program relies on donations of homes. The program locates housing and matches it up with qualifying families. Families must be able to partner with the agency for one to two years and to be able to make payments to maintain the home including utilities, repairs and maintenance. Payments may include property taxes, insurance, and homeowner's association fees. The agency will conduct home visits and inspections during the time of the partnership. Upon successful completion of the partnership, the property will be deeded to the family.
