Library Services

Provider: MONTEREY PARK BRUGGEMEYER LIBRARY

 The agency provides library services to individuals who live in Los Angeles County. Services include adult literacy programs, citizenship education, early literacy development programs, English as a second language, foreign language collections, government publications, large print materials/collections, library services, tutoring services, and volunteer opportunities. There are no geographic restrictions.

  The library maintains a collection of books, board books, magazines, CDs, DVDs, online databases, e-books and audio books. 

  Foreign language collections are available in Chinese, Spanish, Japanese, Korean and Vietnamese.

Application Procedure
Call for information about library services. People must present valid identification to receive a library card. Call the LAMP Office number for literacy, citizenship and ESL classes. Services currently by appointment.
Fees
There are no fees to use the library or to borrow books. There are fees for some feature movie DVDs. Overdue library materials are subject to late fees. There are no fees for literacy, citizenship classes and ESL tutoring.
