Deadbolt/Security Locks

The program provides home improvement services for low-income people who live with in the city of Los Angeles. Services include deadbolt/security locks, home rehabilitation services and low income/subsidized private rental housing.
Deadbolt/security locks, home rehabilitation and weatherization services include a handyworker program for low-income seniors 62 years and older, and people who have disabilities who live in specific census tracts in the City of Los Angeles. The general area served is bordered on the north by Mulholland Drive, on the east by the LA River, on the south by Venice Blvd, and on the west by Venice Beach. Services may include interior and exterior painting; minor carpentry and repair such as the door and window replacement; installation or repair of fences and gates; and the installation of deadbolt locks. Repair of existing cooling systems may be available. Some minor plumbing and electrical repairs are also available.
Los income/subsidized private rental housing is operated in South Central Los Angeles, Little Tokyo, and Rampart/Temple areas of the City.
