Ongoing Emergency Food Assistance

The program provides ongoing emergency food assistance for low-income people with HIV or AIDS in Los Angeles county. Services are targeted, but not restricted, to the Spanish-speaking community; and are offered at the East Los Angeles location only. Clients must be involved in a case management program in order to be eligible. Income restrictions apply; services are restricted to residents of Spa 7.
The program provides groceries twice per month for people with HIV or AIDS and their dependent families. Monthly income for a one-person household cannot exceed $745. Groceries include canned and dried goods, fresh produce and meats, and Latino foods. The program also provides personal hygiene and household supplies such as shampoo, razors and paper goods.
