Residential Camps (Youth, HIV Infections)

The program provides residential camp experiences for youth, ages 6 to 17, who are infected with HIV/AIDS or are transgender/gender diverse immediately affected (parent, legal guardian or sibling has/had the illness). Activities are designed to empower the youth, fostering cooperation, independence, leadership and self-esteem. Services include residential camps. There are no geographic restrictions.
Camp activities include arts and crafts, canoeing, drama, mountain biking, rock climbing, hiking, campfires and more. The Foundation offers 4 to 7 days residential camp sessions throughout the year. A 4-day Winter Family Camp is offered in February for children 3-17 and their parents or legal guardians. A traditional Summer Camp is offered for children ages 6-17. The residential camps accommodate up to 90 youth per session.
