Parenting Skills Classes
Provider: ALL PEOPLES COMMUNITY CENTER
The program provides short term counseling services for individuals and families who live in the South Central area of Los Angeles. Services include court ordered parenting programs, domestic violence support groups, general counseling and parenting skills classes. Geographic restrictions apply for some services.
Depending on the need, staff can provide assistance with personal problems, family concerns, parenting skills and vocational guidance. Advocacy is also provided, when appropriate, to ensure that clients receive other services to which they are entitled.
The program provides court ordered parenting programs and parenting skills development classes. The program consists of ten sessions. Participants receive a certificate of completion for every ten sessions they complete.
