Commodity Supplemental Food Program

The program provides emergency food for low-income families in South Central Los Angeles. Services include a Commodity Supplemental Food Program and an ongoing emergency food program. Eligible people may apply to participate in the program at a time when there is an immediate need or before a crisis occurs. The program provides bags of groceries consisting of USDA surplus commodities and other staples and canned goods. The program is unable to assist people who are homeless, however, depending on individual crisis situations food may be provided. Services are restricted to 90001, 90002, 90003, 90004, 90005, 90010, 90011, 90016, 90018, 90019, 90037, 90043, 90044, 90047, 90058, 90061, 90062 Los Angeles zip code residents.
