Caregiver/Care Receiver Support Groups (Stroke)

The hospital provides numerous self-help groups that are open to both former patients and the general public. Services include bereavement support groups for adults who have experience the loss of a loved one and health related support groups.
Caregiver/Care Receiver Groups that include patients and their caregivers are offered for brain injuries and stroke.
Health related support groups include groups for breast cancer, chronic pain, liver disease, Parkinson's Disease, spinal cord injury, and trigeminal neuralgia.
Other groups include a childbirth group that provides ongoing support for breastfeeding women; a mental health related support group, sponsored by NAMI, to assist people diagnosed with mental illness; and bereavement support groups.
