The college provides post-secondary education for people in the Los Angeles Community College District. There are no geographic restrictions.
The college offers a two-year, higher education program for adults age 18 and older. The college offers a comprehensive curriculum; classes are available in the liberal arts and sciences, business administration and a variety of vocational subject areas. Students may earn an Associate Degree or participate in an occupational certificate program; attendance may be on a full-time or part-time basis. Services available for students include financial aid, academic and career counseling, and tutoring. Students' children may attend an on-campus Child Development Center. Child care services are available for preschool age children during daytime class hours.
Services for students who have disabilities include special materials, tutoring and limited transportation. Classes meet during the daytime, early evenings and Saturdays. The college offers community service classes and also a counseling program for returning students.
