The center provides HIV/AIDS services for people of all ages in Los Angeles county. Services include HIV/AIDS/STD prevention kits. There are no geographic restrictions.
The center offers the HIV/AIDS Pep/PrEP program that provides emergency post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) treatment for people who have had a high risk exposure to HIV/AIDS, and pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) treatment for people who have high-risk HIV/AIDS exposure. PEP treatment includes a 28 day course of antiretroviral medication, usually in pill form. Treatment must start within 72 hours of exposure. PrEP includes a daily medication to reduce the risk of HIV infection.
