Provider: LAWNDALE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICT
The district administers comprehensive education services for children who are in pre-kindergarten through grade 8 who live in the City of Lawndale and portions of Gardena and Hawthorne. The district provides education services through nine schools and also offers special education programs for children age 3 and older who have disabilities, a school readiness program for pre-kindergarteners, as well as programs for gifted children. In addition, the district provides the customary health and mental health support services.

For the State Preschool, call for an application to be mailed or walk into the Preschool office at 3530 W. 147th St., Hawthorne, CA 90260.
Enrollment for elementary school is done at the local school.
