The agency provides HIV/AIDS services for adults, age 18 and older. Services include AIDS/HIV prevention counseling, AIDS/HIV prevention kits, group counseling, health education, HIV testing, specialized HIV/AIDS-related information and referral and substance abuse treatment programs. Services are targeted, but not restricted, to Norwalk, Pico Rivera, Santa Fe Springs, Whittier and the greater San Gabriel Valley area.
AIDS prevention kits include the distribution of condoms and bleach kits. Group counseling is available to people who have AIDS or who are HIV positive. The specialized AIDS/HIV-related information and referral provides information about community programs and referral to those services.
The agency also provides treatment for people diagnosed with HIV/AIDS and chemical dependency. Services include updated information on treatments available including early intervention tactics, new treatments and alternative therapies.
