Alcohol Use Disorder Counseling

The agency provides substance use disorder services for adults, age 18 and older, and adolescents, age 13 to 17. Services include alcohol use disorder counseling; drug use disorder counseling; comprehensive outpatient alcohol use disorder treatment for adolescents; comprehensive outpatient drug use disorder treatment for adolescents; comprehensive outpatient substance use disorder treatment, a court referred drug diversion program; drug use disorder education/prevention services for adolescents; and a perinatal substance use disorder treatment program. The drug use disorder counseling services are also available for homeless people. There are no geographic restrictions.

Alcohol use disorder counseling services are available to adults and include individual, group and family counseling.

Drug use disorder counseling services are available to adults and include individual, group and family counseling. The agency also provides individual and group drug abuse counseling for homeless people at the Homeless Outreach Project site.

The comprehensive outpatient drug use disorder treatment program for adolescents is a minimum six month program and includes individual and group counseling, alcohol and drug education, drug testing, and recreational activities.

The court-referred drug diversion program is a 5 to 6 month program for adults. Services include drug abuse education, individual counseling, and drug testing.

The perinatal substance use disorder treatment program is for pregnant teens, age 13 to 18, and for adult women. Services include counseling, crisis intervention and referral, education, addiction treatment and parenting skills development. To be eligible for the program the woman must have a previous drug abuse problem, however, not be under medical supervision or methadone treatment; and be pregnant or have a child under the age of 2 months. Sessions are held four or five times per week for 9 to 12 months, and include monthly drug-free family activities. Participants who meet low-income eligibility requirements may also enroll in the Early Head Start program, which provides health and mental health services, health and nutrition education, developmental activities for children to age 3, and family support services.
