The program provides recreational programs for residents of Signal Hill and surrounding areas. Services include extended day care, recreational activities/sports and recreational/leisure/arts instruction for youth and adults. Services are restricted to residents of Signal Hill and surrounding areas.
Recreation programs for youth include a child care program for school aged children which provides afterschool care and extended day care hours during school inter-sessions; and an after-school program at Signal Hill Park and other sites during school breaks. Activities include arts, crafts, sports and sports leagues, and excursions.
