Area Agencies on Aging

The Commission provides advocacy for older adults in the State of California. The Commission is also the advisory body for statewide agencies and organizations that provide services for older adults. It does not provide direct services. The Commission serves as a liaison between older adults and the State Department of Aging; it coordinates with Area Agencies on Aging through the advisory Triple A Council of California; it provides legislative advocacy for passage of legislation affecting older adults.
