Nutrition Education (Families)

The hospital provides weight management programs for children, age 7 to 11, and adolescents, age 12 to 18, and their parents in the Montebello/Commerce area. Services include nutrition education for the whole family, and physical fitness sessions at the Montebello/Commerce YMCA. There are medical guidelines and age restrictions for the program.
To join, the overweight child must first obtain general medical clearance from his or her primary doctor in order to participate in the 9 week exercise class at the YMCA.

Emergency room hours are Monday through Sunday, 24 hours per day.<p/>SERVICE HOURS : Hospital Events Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm; Classes at the hospital are Tuesdays, 4:00pm to 5:15pm for children; Tuesdays, 4:45pm to 6:00pm for teens.
