Landlord/Tenant Dispute Resolution

Provider: CITY OF GARDENA CITY MANAGER - RENT MEDIATION BOARD

The program provides mediation and hearing services for Gardena residents who wish to register complaints about rent increases that are five percent or greater. Board members attempt to mediate a resolution of the matter between the renter who filed the complaint and the landlord/owner. The Hearing process is available if a resolution isn't reached during the mediation process. The Hearing is binding on both parties. Service is restricted to Gardena residents.
