The center provides sexual assault services for people of all ages in Los Angeles County. Services include 24-hour emergency medical care and evidentiary examinations for sexual assault, crisis intervention, advocacy and accompaniment, ongoing counseling and psychotherapy, information and referral, support services for people who have been sexually assaulted. The center also provides a comprehensive treatment program for children who are victims of sexual assault. There are no geographic restrictions.
Referrals are available for long term therapy. Staff provide advocacy and accompaniment through medical, police and court procedures. Staff may also act as an expert witness in court and legislative hearings.
