Childbirth Education (Chinese Community)

The hospital provides health education and wellness programs for people in the San Gabriel Valley. Services include Breastfeeding; Childbirth Education in Prepared Childbirth; and a New Parent Baby Care class. The baby care classes are offered in English, Spanish and in Mandarin. There are no geographic restrictions.
The community education department offers free health lectures on topics of interest. The program also sponsors a walking program called Hearts and Soles, to encourage cardiac health, weight maintenance and general wellness for any interested community members.

Fees
The childbirth education class is $90; the Breastfeeding and Baby care classes are $30 each, if taken separately, but are free with the childbirth class. The Baby Care class in Chinese is a combination class that includes baby care and breastfeeding; taken alone it is $30, however, it is free with the childbirth education class.
