Occupational/Professional Licensing and Certification (Construction Managers)

  The agency provides licensing services in the state of California. Services include occupational/professional licensing and certification for construction managers (contractors) and construction-related professions. There are no geographic restrictions.  

  The board is responsible for issuing licenses to individuals who have met the requirements established by the state for general engineering and building contractors, specialty contractors and home improvement salespersons. In addition, the board has regulatory responsibilities which include administering written examinations required for licensing and renewals, and maintaining and informing licensees of new requirements.
