Child Care Provider Licensing
The division provides child care provider licensing services in Los Angeles County. There are no geographic restrictions.
The Child Care Licensing Program provides oversight and enforcement for licensed Child Care Centers and Family Child Care Homes. There are 3 regional offices for the Los Angeles County area that can provide information pertaining to child care licensure.

People interested in obtaining a license attend orientation sessions which are offered online. Licensees must be age 18 or older; applicants are screened for TB and criminal history. Information and forms are available on the agency's web site at www.ccld.ca.gov
