Disability Related Parenting Programs (Parents of People With Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder)

The agency provides family support services for families of people with developmental disabilities. Services include conjoint counseling, disability related parenting programs and parent support groups. Home visits may be available; there are no geographic restrictions.
Couples counseling for parents focuses on strengthening communication while negotiating differences in parenting styles.
In-home behavior and parent training is available to help support the family system. Trained interventionists work with all family members and adult caregivers to identify and understand maladaptive behaviors and provide appropriate replacement behaviors. A licensed clinician supervises and oversees each family's progress.
