The agency provides legal services for individuals of all ages in Los Angeles County. Services include family law and self-petitions for battered spouses. Services are targeted, but not restricted, to low-income individuals. There are no geographic restrictions.
Family law services include assistance with divorce, paternity, restraining orders, and custody or visitation orders. The agency can also assist battered immigrant women who wish to petition for legal residence for themselves or their children under VAWA.

Application Procedure
Call to apply; an appointment is required. CalWORKs participants must show proof to qualify for free services.
Fees
Fees are set on a sliding scale based on income; services are free for CalWORKs participants.
