Transitional Housing/Shelter (Single Parent Families Headed by Mothers)
Provider: CATHOLIC CHARITIES OF LOS ANGELES - SAN JUAN DIEGO CENTER - MCGILL STREET HOUSE
The program provides transitional shelter for women with up to three children under age 18, who are in Los Angeles County. Applicants are required to be homeless or within 14 days of being homeless. There are no geographic restrictions.
The shelter can accommodate 2 families at a time. Residents are required to respect house rules which include assisting with daily chores, no drinking or drugs, and a 6:00pm curfew Sunday through Thursday and a 8:00pm curfew on Saturday and Sunday. Residents must also participate in a mandatory monthly savings plan.
