Parenting Skills Classes

The agency provides counseling services for people of all ages. Services are provided for people who live, primarily, in the communities of Atwater, Burbank, Eagle Rock, Glendale, Hollywood, La Crescenta, Montrose, Pasadena, Silverlake, Sunland and Tujunga. Services include adolescent/youth counseling, child guidance, family counseling, general counseling, group counseling, hypnotherapy, individual counseling, life coaching, parenting skills classes, perinatal/postpartum depression counseling and workshops/symposiums. There are no geographic restrictions.

General counseling services may include individual, group and family therapy. The program provides adolescent/youth counseling and child guidance. Issues addressed may include behavior problems at home or in school, depression, drug or alcohol abuse, identity issues, or dealing with divorce.

Services are provided through the agency's core Create Freedom and Awareness training program. The program focuses on increasing emotional intelligence, personal and professional development, leadership skills, empowerment and overall happiness and well-being. Separate programs are available for adults, teens ages 13 to 17 and children ages 8 to 12.
