In Person Crisis Intervention

The agency provides counseling for families who live in Los Angeles. A special outreach program is also available for families. Services include crisis intervention, case management, family counseling and parent child interactivion therapy. Services are restricted to Los Angeles zip codes 90004, 90005, 90006, 90007, 90010, 90012, 90013, 90014, 90015, 90017, 90020, 90021, 90023, 90031, 90033, 90057, 90063 and 90071 residents.

Medi-Cal eligible youth, 1 - 20 years of age, may receive developmental assessment services and behavior modification therapy through the CHDP program.

Children ages 0 to 5 may receive such services as Parent Child Interaction Therapy and Child Parent Psychotherapy as well as other therapeutic interventions that focus on the relationship between the caregiver and the child. The goal is to provide a strong foundation, improve parenting skills and mitigate the effects of early trauma and stress.

For elementary and middle school students, services are coordinated with school staff and use a variety of group and individual practices such as Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, as well as linkages and referrals to other critical resources and services.
