Comprehensive Outpatient Drug Use Disorder Treatment

The agency provides substance use disorder services for adolescents, age 12 to 20, and adults who reside in the Antelope, San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valleys. The agency also offers alcohol use disorder counseling; comprehensive outpatient alcohol use disorder treatment and comprehensive outpatient drug use disorder treatment; drug use disorder counseling, alcohol use disorder education/prevention and drug use disorder education/prevention programs for industry and community groups, drug/alcohol testing; and an early intervention outreach program for youth.

Outpatient treatment for adolescents, aged 12 to 18, is a six to twelve month family oriented program that includes individual, group and family counseling; alcohol and drug education; introduction to 12-step programs; a support program for the youth's parents; intervention and hospital placement if necessary; and specialized information and referrals to other drug abuse-related resources.

Outpatient treatment for adults is a three to six month individualized and highly-structured program that includes individual, group and family counseling, alcohol and drug education, involvement in 12-step programs, AIDS education, and specialized information and referral to other drug abuse-related resources.

Outpatient treatment for women is a six month specialized program that includes individual, group and family counseling; alcohol and drug education; vocational counseling; sexuality counseling for both heterosexual and lesbian women; parenting classes; and nutritional guidance.

Drug counseling is available for adolescents and adults and includes individual and family counseling. Drug testing is available for adolescents and adults and includes confidential testing.

Education and prevention programs for industry and community groups focuses on topics like Drugs in the Workplace and Prevention Strategies for Schools. The early intervention outreach for youth includes presentations for schools, churches and community groups which focus on decision making, self-esteem and drug education.
