The agency provides shelter services for homeless veterans in Los Angeles County. Services include transitional housing/shelter services. There are no geographic restrictions.

The Veterans Grant Per Diem Program is designed to help veterans break their cycle of homelessness by helping them obtain an income, save money, and find permanent housing. The average length of stay is two years.

Homeless veterans must be medically stable, have their addictions under control, and be willing to work at the program. Veterans with any discharge status but dishonorable are eligible for services.

Secondary services include three meals a day, remedial educational instruction, job preparedness and placement programs, clothing assistance, life skills training, benefits assistance (SSI, SSDI, GR, etc.), an outpatient substance abuse recovery program, long-term case management, counseling, housing locators, mail drop and voice mail, and transitional planning.
