Congregate Meals/Nutrition Sites
Provider: YMCA OF METROPOLITAN LOS ANGELES - TORRANCE SOUTH BAY YMCA
The program provides nutrition programs for adults 60 years and older who live in the South Bay area. Services include congregate meals/nutrition sites and home delivered meals. Age and geographic restrictions apply.
Home-delivered meals services are for adults age 60 and older who are homebound and unable to shop or cook for themselves. Seven frozen meals are delivered together on one day, or may be picked up grab-and-go style.
YMCA membership is not required congregate meals, and economic status is not an eligibility requirement.

Call or walk in for information or to apply for congregate meals. Seniors who are interested in the hot lunch must call 24 hours in advance to make a reservation.
Call to apply for home-delivered meals; doctor's verification and proof of residence are required for service.
The suggested donation for congregate and home-delivered meals is $4.00 per meal. Seniors will not be turned away due to inability to contribute.
