Small Business Development

The agency provides business services to microenterprises, small and large businesses in Los Angeles County. Services include business consulting services, business tax information, labor market information, organizational development and management services, regional economic development, and small business development. There are no geographic restrictions.

Also offered to businesses is incentive packages, COVID business recovery resources, webinars, tax incentives, site selection, workforce resources, permits, licenses, zoning or local industry analyses for companies expanding or relocating to Los Angeles County.

With the World Trade Center Association Los Angeles/Long Beach the agency provides international trade connections that benefit the Los Angeles region and actively pursues worldwide opportunities that bring direct foreign investment into the local economy.

The Jack Kyser Center for Economic Research provides research and statistics for regional economic planning and business analysis.
