The agency is a membership organization that produces and provides a library of educational texts and literature in accessible formats (CDs and MP3's, and software applications including iPhone, and iPad) for students and professionals who have visual, physical and learning disabilities. Services include disabled student services, recordings include textbooks, other educational materials, and special library collections for students who have visual impairments or learning disabilities. Audio textbooks and other educational materials for students with print disabilities are provided nationwide to individuals and schools who/that become agency members. There are no geographic restrictions. The library, which is located in Princeton, New Jersey, includes textbooks from the member elementary school through post-graduate and professional levels. A computerized title/author search for more than 70,000 titles is available nationwide; the agency also records textbooks that are not in the collection. Special CD players, which are available from the agency and other sources, are required for listening to these recordings. The program also provides educational outreach to schools and individuals. Schools may obtain a membership as well as individuals. LANGUAGES OTHER THAN ENGLISH Textbooks for foreign language classes are available.
