Veteran Reintegration Counseling
Provider: UNITED STATES VETERANS INITIATIVE
The agency provides counseling services for Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom veterans and their family. Services include veteran reintegration counseling. Services are restricted to the Veteran Resource Centers on the following Community College campuses: Pasadena City College, Los Angeles Community College, West Los Angeles College, El Camino Community College, Long Beach Community College, Santa Monica Community College, and Irvine Valley College.
The Outside the Wire program provides short and long term counseling for recently returned veterans who are affected by Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Traumatic Brain Injury, Military Sexual Trauma, and other service-related psychological injuries.
Other services include case management and referral to such resources as health, employment, substance abuse, relationship support, and others as needed.
