Food Stamps/SNAP Appeals/Complaints

The agency provides appeals and complaints services to individuals in Los Angeles County. Services include CalFresh appeals and complaints, general relief appeals and complaints, and TANF appeals and complaints. There are no geographic restrictions.
The agency administers federal and state mandates which guarantee applicants and participants of public assistance the right to a fair state hearing on issues related to CalWORKs, CalFresh, General Relief, IHSS and the Refugee Assistance Program for Los Angeles County.

Application Procedure
Claimants may request a hearing, or file an appeal or complaint, in writing, over the telephone, or online. Written requests should be submitted to P.O. Box 18890, Los Angeles, CA 90013, phone requests contact the State Hearing Division, online requests at www.cdss.ca.gov
