At Risk Youth Employment Programs

The agency provides employment services for out of school and at risk out of school youth ages 14 to 24. Services include at risk employment programs, WIOA programs for juvenile offenders and adolescent/young adult former and current foster youth, and other youth employment programs. Services are geographically restricted to the South Bay area of Los Angeles County.

At risk youth employment programs provide resources and services to out of school adolescents and young adults to finish or stay in school, obtain a higher education, and prepare for a successful adult career. Services include a Bridge to Work Program for out of school youth including someone who is a school dropout; no longer attending any school or has not received a secondary education diploma or its equivalent; graduated from high school or holds a GED but is basic skills deficient and unemployed or underemployed.

Employment services for low-income youth, ages 14 to 24, who have barriers to successful completion of their employment and educational goals include career interest and aptitude job matching, job placement, job shadowing, and job interviewing techniques.
