Clerical Volunteer Opportunities

The program provides information about volunteer opportunities for individuals who live in Culver City, Mar Vista, Palms, Westchester and surrounding areas. Services include volunteer recruitment/placement.
Volunteer opportunities include clerical volunteer opportunities, environmental protection/advocacy volunteer opportunities, food sorting/packing volunteer opportunities, friendly telephoning volunteer opportunities, meal delivery volunteer opportunities, and travelers assistance volunteer opportunities and many more.
Volunteer recruitment/placement services include an assessment of the volunteer's interests, expertise and available hours, and placement in an appropriate public or private, non-profit agency. Agencies that wish to recruit volunteers to use in their programs may call the center and place a request.
Parental consent is need for youth under the age of 18.
The agency at which the volunteer is placed may provide on-the-job training and supplemental insurance while the volunteer is on duty. The agency may complete background checks and fingerprint clearance on volunteers who work with children. If this agency places a volunteer with another non-profit agency, that agency may have different volunteer requirements.
