Child/Adolescent Residential Treatment Facilities
Provider: DAVID AND MARGARET YOUTH AND FAMILY SERVICES
The program provides residential mental health services. Services include residential treatment for emotionally disturbed girls age 11 to 19. There are no geographic restrictions; youth from other states or countries may be placed in this program.
The residential program provides a therapeutic milieu, and services which include case management services, individual, family, and group counseling and psychotherapy; education in an on-grounds Special Education school for those that qualify on their IEP and special tutoring if needed; substance abuse counseling; medical services; support services and recreation.
For clients whose primary problem is substance abuse, the agency provides a state-certified 16 week recovery program that utilizes individual individual and group counseling. Secondary services include physical fitness, recreational activities and 12 step support groups.
