Crime Victim/Witness Counseling (Gay Men, Hate Crime Victims)

Provider: LOS ANGELES LGBT CENTER - STOP VIOLENCE PROGRAM

The project provides advocacy for victims of anti-gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgender hate crimes. Services include crime victim counseling, individual advocacy, specialized information and referral, and crime victim support in obtaining a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO). There are no geographic restrictions.  

The program provides support for gay men, lesbians, bisexuals, and transgender who are victims of hate crimes. The counseling program provides crisis counseling, individual counseling and follow-up counseling. In addition, the program provides individual advocacy with law enforcement and assistance in obtaining a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO).
