Provider: CITY OF PALOS VERDES ESTATES POLICE DEPARTMENT

The department provides law enforcement services for the city of Palos Verdes Estates. Services include abandoned vehicle reporting, crime prevention, law enforcement complaints, municipal police, neighborhood watch programs, police reports and temporary restraining order assistance services. The service area is restricted to the city of Palos Verdes Estates.

Temporary restraining order assistance is provided on a short term (72 hrs.), emergency basis only. Regular TROs must be applied for at a Superior Court location.

The department provides crime prevention through community education presentations and technical assistance. It assists residents in organizing neighborhood watch programs.

Police reports may be obtained by contacting the police departments non-emergency number. An Application for Release of Information must be filled out and the requesting individual must be the victim or the victim's authorized representative.
