Nutrition Education
The center provides a nutrition program for adults age 60 years and older who live in Compton, Paramount, and the East Rancho Dominguez area. Services include a congregate meal five days a week and nutrition classes held by a registered dietician on the 4th Thursday of every month at 10:00am. The dietician provides screenings, and teaches older adults healthier eating habits. Services are targeted, but not restricted, to Compton, Paramount, and the East Rancho Dominguez areas residents.
