Eye Care Expense Assistance

The agency provides health services for children in Los Angeles County. Services include eye care expense assistance, eye care referrals, and vision screenings for low income families.

The program schedules vision screening events at schools, events and health fairs on request from the community. Vision screenings are free. Staff then refer children needing extensive eye examinations to Opthalmologists, who provide their services at very reduced rates.

Financial assistance is available for needy families for medical expense for eye care, eyeglasses, and transportation if necessary to eye appointments.
