The medical center provides hospital services for people of all ages in Los Angeles County. Services include clinical trials, emergency room care, general medical care, and hospice care. The hospital is a Level I Trauma Center and also maintains a Pediatric Critical Care Center. There are no geographic restrictions.
The outpatient services include a sleep disorders center, a bone disease center, a center for reproductive medicine and prenatal testing, and a Tay/Sachs screening program. The hospital also operates a blood bank.

LANGUAGES OTHER THAN ENGLISH Staff are available who speak Armenian, Farsi, Hebrew, Hungarian, Korean, Russian, Spanish, Tagalog and Yiddish; interpreters are available who speak other languages.

Fees
Fixed Fees. Some clinics and physicians accept Medicare, Medi-cal, most managed health care plans and private insurance; however, call the physician referral line to get a doctor for your medical needs and medical insurance plan.
Financial assistance may be available for qualified individuals with low income. People with income and monetary assets at or below 200% of the federal poverty level may apply for full (no charge) assistance. People with income and monetary assets within the range of 201% to 450% of the federal poverty level may apply for partial (discounted) assistance. Other discounts may be available on a sliding scale based on family size and income level.
